PIMCO is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join its Client Solutions & Analytics group in New York, NY or Newport Beach, CA. The role offers exposure to financial markets and portfolio analysis within a development program for a career in investment management.

The position requires a four-year degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Math/Engineering, a GPA of 3.2+, and 0–4 years in investment management. Relocation to New York or Newport Beach is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering or applied science.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• 0-4 years of experience in investment management.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willing to relocate to New York, NY or Newport Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support Strategists in analyzing client portfolios and building presentations.
• Run risk analytics, optimizations, economic scenario analyses, and stress tests using proprietary and external data.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Maintain standard presentation materials with periodic updates.
• Develop understanding of PIMCO investment strategies and risks across markets.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Analytics, and Product Strategy.
