Job summary

Daktronics, a leader in digital LED display technology and audio systems, seeks a Strategy Analyst to drive corporate and business-unit strategies. You will work with the CEO and executive team on strategic priorities, perform market research, build financial models, and prepare executive-level presentations.

The role is remote with a preference for candidates near Brookings, SD, and may require up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with 2–5 years of relevant business experience; MBA strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of business fundamentals and financial concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and structured-thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the CEO and leadership on strategic priorities and initiatives.
Support development and execution of corporate and business-unit strategies.
Conduct market, competitive, customer, and industry research to identify risks and opportunities.
Evaluate initiatives with quantitative and qualitative analysis and develop recommendations.
Develop business cases, financial models, investment analyses, sensitivity analyses, and scenario plans.
Analyze performance, metrics, and financial results to inform executive decisions.
Prioritize and track key strategic initiatives and executive actions.
Prepare for executive meetings and Board materials with focused research and analysis.
Translate analyses into concise, visually effective communications.
