LINK is seeking a Strategist with a strong background in Communication to join our Washington, DC area team. The role involves partnering with clients and internal teams to craft clear, actionable strategies, guiding problem-solving, and delivering client-centered solutions with strong research and storytelling capabilities.

Responsibilities span research, executive presentations, change management, and governance work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in strategic communications, consulting, public affairs, organizational transformation, program management, or a related field.
• Experience in military public affairs or defense communications is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partners with clients and internal teams to develop missions, visions, strategic goals, and measurable KPIs/OKRs.
• Facilitates strategic planning, workshops, stakeholder engagements, and prioritization activities.
• Conducts primary/secondary research, interviews, environmental scans, and benchmarking.
• Synthesizes information into clear findings, insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Develops governance frameworks and supporting documentation for initiatives.
• Translates complex ideas into executive-level presentations and narratives.
• Supports change management and adoption roadmaps; monitors progress and feedback.
