THE ROLE

The Strategist - Investment Product Development leads work relating to the development, enhancement, and management of investment products across MFS distribution channels, facilitating the implementation of approved product initiatives through the management of cross-functional project teams. Working closely with senior leaders, team members, and business partners, this role also contributes to the strategic development and refinement of MFS product lines across retail and institutional markets in both U.S. and non-U.S. regions, ensuring that existing products, product extensions, and new offerings align with MFS's corporate strategic vision and evolving marketplace needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead work relating to the development, enhancement, and management of investment products across MFS product lines and distribution channels.

• Leads cross-functional teams in the execution of standard new product initiatives, including product launches, product changes, and ongoing product management initiatives.

• Prepares project plans, documentation and analyses required to bring new product initiatives through the product approval process.

• Serves as a product vehicle resource and subject matter expert for investment vehicles in Global Product and overall Distribution organization. Maintains a strong understanding of the industry with a particular emphasis on the overall competitive product landscape and MFS' positioning.

• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity and provide insights to support product strategy discussions.

• Evaluates new product opportunities, product enhancements, and market positioning initiatives.

• Partners on strategic planning activities through market sizing, competitor analysis, pricing reviews, and product comparisons.

• Partner with colleagues across Investments, Distribution, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to support product initiatives and business priorities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 6-8+ years of experience in financial services, investment products, product development, product management, market research, or competitive analysis.

• Working knowledge of investment products, product structures, and distribution channels.

• Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and translating findings into business insights.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to a variety of audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build effective working relationships.

• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels; must have experience in providing service to internal client base.

Base Salary Range: $123,000.00 - $177,500.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

At MFS, we believe in fair and transparent compensation. For that reason, we're including the salary range for this position. This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education. In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance. Other components of our Total Rewards Package include:

• MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
