Job description

Gallery Media Group is a modern day media company with an overall mission to 'Make Positivity Louder.' GMG focuses efforts on where consumer attention currently lies and continues to shift.

Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow, iconic fashion and style brand Coveteur and a collection of social-first media brands, such as @cocktails and @ballplayers on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators and cultural moments at scale—as well as a robust influencer marketing business.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

We are looking for a mid-level strategist to help develop, implement and execute social media and influencer marketing strategies for our brand partners. Working in tandem with our Influencer, Client Services and Brand Strategy teams, the Strategist will be instrumental in enhancing brands’ influencer approaches, networks and campaign executions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic campaign development spanning holistic full year strategies to key focus points throughout the year, including but not limited to seasonal campaigns, new brand launches, brand initiatives, on-site events, timely opportunistic moments, etc.
  • Analyze the relevant social landscape for opportunities and create content + talent strategies that align with the overall brand goals, KPIs, and priorities accordingly
  • Apply your strong understanding of social platforms to ideate on quick, reactive content that capitalizes on cultural trends to inform future activations and strategies
  • Demonstrate excellent strength in editing, writing, conceptualizing and presenting strategy decks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of influencer strategies with broader marketing objectives
  • Define overarching goals + KPIs, related measurement planning and reporting inclusive of coordination with multiple dashboards
  • Produce regular qualitative and quantitative reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders for the influencers campaigns you manage, inclusive of detailed content analysis, strategic recommendations, as well as identifying and optimizing opportunities

Reporting

  • Develop insights from campaigns and the current social media landscape, both in real time as well as at key benchmarks throughout partnerships

Be The Influencer Marketing Expert

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key contacts within the influencer space
  • Stay informed of platform updates, specifically across Instagram, TikTok, YouTue, Facebook, Pinterest and X and other emerging platforms
  • Maintain an understanding of influencer marketing landscape, staying on top of trends and implementing changes as needed

Experience:

  • 3-5 years working for an influencer, talent and/or social agency
  • Preferred experience in the beauty, fashion and women’s lifestyle space
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns
  • Understanding of influencer and content management tools
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of influencers and multiple projects at a time against strict deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills, and experience communicating results and ideas with clients.
  • You will be a proven creative and data-driven thinker who understands the importance of both art and science when it comes to social content and influencer marketing success.

Location: New York (Hybrid)
