Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a workforce planning professional to analyze payroll budgets, staffing forecasts and schedules. The role involves configuring and testing changes to the workforce management system and providing cross-department reporting.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel/Access, SQL skills and Automotive Aftermarket experience, with the ability to analyze data and present actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 2 years in Automotive Aftermarket with understanding of programming standards, procedures and processes.
• Advanced SQL skills and database knowledge.
• Strong Excel and Access proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with ability to report findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze payroll budgets, staffing forecasts, and work schedules.
• Perform ad-hoc what-if analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Analyze critical workforce metrics and vendor updates for forecasting.
• Configure, test and validate changes to the workforce management system.
• Provide reporting to multiple departments and support timekeeping/scheduling.
• Respond to JIRA tickets and issues related to scheduling and timekeeping.
