Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Workforce Analytics Analyst to analyze payroll budgets, staffing forecasts, and work schedules to ensure excellent customer service and profitability. The role focuses on data-driven decision making, system configuration, and testing related to the workforce management platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel/Access/SQL skills, a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and experience with forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or accounting.
• Strong Excel/Access and SQL data analysis skills.
• Experience with workforce management or forecasting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to inform payroll budgets, staffing forecasts, and schedules for customer service and profitability.
• Perform ad-hoc what-if analyses to identify trends and opportunities in workforce planning.
• Analyze key metrics imported from systems into the workforce management system and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with field management on event analysis, planning, exclusions, and forecast adjustments.
• Configure system settings, conduct user acceptance testing, and support adoption by users.
• Work with IT and vendor teams to test changes and ensure proper access, views, and reporting.
• Provide reporting from the WFM system to multiple departments and respond to tickets.
