Job summary

Umpqua Health is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to manage resident and student programs, maintain college partnerships, and support onboarding and education initiatives. The role emphasizes compliance with NHSC/HRSA and cross-department coordination.

The position requires at least two years in HR or related fields, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and HRIS/learning systems. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in HR, workforce development, healthcare administration, education coordination, or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using SharePoint, Smartsheet, HRIS systems, and learning management systems.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage resident, student, and workforce development programs across the organization.
• Maintain and oversee affiliation agreements with colleges, universities, residency programs, and educational partners.
• Serve as a primary contact for student and resident placement coordination and onboarding support.
• Develop, promote, and communicate workforce development initiatives and UH University programs.
• Market educational opportunities to staff via internal channels.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workforce development programming.
