Job summary

California State Lottery is seeking a Supervisor II in Human Resources to manage the Workforce Development Section and lead enterprise-wide change management efforts. This role reports to the Assistant Deputy Director and will drive staff development, succession planning, and innovative recruitment strategies.

You will support training and employee development across the organization, requiring travel and eligibility for telework within California.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workforce and succession planning is preferred.
• Knowledge of CA civil service laws and recruitment rules.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with change management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Workforce Development Section and implement an enterprise-wide change management program.
• Provide technical expertise to program management and staff in workforce/succession planning.
• Build recruitment and outreach function using social media and other channels.
• Lead Training and Employee Development initiatives and align with department goals.
