Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist Lead to preside over day-to-day operations within our North Central Texas workforce centers. You will guide Workforce Development Specialists, ensure service delivery excellence, monitor performance and compliance, and coordinate workflow while maintaining direct service responsibilities as needed.

You will lead coaching and training efforts, foster a collaborative team environment, and support achievement of workforce performance goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Wagner-Peyser programs and workforce regulations.
• Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and recommend operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities to ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Provide coaching and training to staff and onboarding of new employees.
• Monitor performance, compliance, and customer service standards.
• Coordinate workflow and staffing coverage across the workforce center.
• Escalate complex issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Support special projects and new program requirements.
