Job summary

WaterEmployee Services Authority (WESA) seeks a Water Resources Manager to lead the District's water reliability, quality, and sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Water Resources, you will guide a multidisciplinary team of about 17 professionals and oversee planning, systems engineering, and laboratory operations.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in water supply planning, groundwater management, water rights, and California regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading water resources programs in public utilities or agencies.
• Strong knowledge of California regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage projects and consultant contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead water resources planning, infrastructure programs, and system engineering.
• Oversee water quality, laboratory operations, and wastewater engineering initiatives.
• Manage staff and external consultants; supervise ~17 professionals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and regional partners on complex projects.
