Water Systems Consulting, Inc. (WSC) is seeking a Design Practice Area Director to oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering water, wastewater, and recycled water projects. The role leads client relationships, mentoring, and regional marketing with a flexible hybrid work model across CA, OR, and WA.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in water project delivery, a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, and a CA P.E. license or reciprocity within 6 months.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• P.E. registration in California or reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
• 15+ years of experience in planning, design and/or construction of water facilities.
• Strong client development and municipal project delivery experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams for water, recycled water, and wastewater projects.
• Develop tools, standards, processes, and best practices for design work.
• Oversee client service management and strengthen relationships.
• Lead project pursuits including proposals and interviews.
• Lead workshops and drive design decisions.
• Mentor entry-level and mid-career professionals.
• Monitor design practice metrics and growth strategies.
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Occasional travel within CA/WA/OR.
