Job summary

BTD in the United States is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to identify, evaluate, and develop strategic and potential suppliers for industrial projects. You will negotiate contracts and terms, manage purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery while controlling costs.

You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, business administration, or commerce.
• Master’s degree or specialization in Supply Chain is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles in the industrial sector.
• Experience in water treatment plant projects is valued.
• Strong negotiation skills for pricing and supplier terms.
• Analytical skills for evaluating technical and financial information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic and potential suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers.
• Coordinate and update the supplier database.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure follow-up.
• Ensure on-time delivery and cost control.
• Analyze KPIs to measure procurement efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare periodic procurement status reports.
• Promote continuous improvements in procurement processes.
