Job summary

The NEFCO Logistics Manager will oversee all branch distribution operations, directing receiving, storage, inventory control, pick, pack, and route loading to ensure on-time customer deliveries. You will manage a team of dispatchers, supervisors, and drivers, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct, optimize, and coordinate all warehouse activity
• Manage P&L expenses, quality, productivity, staffing, safety, capacity, and product flow
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement via metrics, training, and coaching
• Maintain open communications with operations personnel
• Support Customer Service, QA/QC, and Inventory Control as needed
• Monitor branch review queue
• Monitor inbound/outbound/product questions
• Daily warehouse walkthrough for safety and housekeeping
• Review daily reports to identify opportunities and root causes
• Oversee cross-dock and transfer situations
• Address and solve branch issues
• Ensure parcel shipments are processed timely and accurately
