Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I to oversee warehouse operations, drive strategic process improvements, and lead a team of managers to deliver safe, efficient service at scale. The role requires 5+ years of managerial experience, 2+ years in warehousing or distribution, staff management, and a Bachelor's degree; WMS experience preferred.

This position includes a national salary range of $120,000–$155,000 plus Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and other benefits across our 500+

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, fostering a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
• Use WMS, automation and technology to track inventory and identify improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other KPIs.
• Maintain close daily contact with customers to ensure satisfaction and strong relationships.
• Oversee the site's P&L and contribute to business reviews with customers.
