Job summary

UG2 is seeking a high‑caliber Vice President of Finance & Shared Services to partner with operations across multiple regions. The role drives performance, FP&A, labor cost management, and financial discipline in a distributed, labor‑intensive services business.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of finance leadership, deep FP&A, and a track record of cross‑functional collaboration with operations. A CPA/MBA is preferred; Boston‑area experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Experience in facility management, janitorial, security, staffing, or labor‑driven services preferred.
• Proven ability to partner with operations across multi‑site environments.
• Expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of labor cost drivers and contract‑based models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional/operational leaders to drive profitability and growth.
• Lead FP&A across regions and align planning with GAAP reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close; drive automation.
• Manage labor cost structures and workforce planning initiatives.
• Act as trusted advisor to regional leadership on financial performance.
• Provide insights to support strategic decisions and risk opportunities.
