Job summary

Building Owners and Managers Association International seeks a Vice President, Finance and Administration to join its executive leadership team and partner with the President and Board on strategy and financial stewardship.

The role focuses on strengthening the finance and administration function, enhancing internal controls, reporting, and systems while guiding HR responsibilities with our outsourced partner. A CPA is preferred and 10+ years of leadership in finance is required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, preferably within an association, nonprofit, or similarly complex organization.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is required; CPA credential strongly preferred; MBA, CMA, or other advanced financial credential desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise the President, Board, and executive leadership as a trusted financial steward.
• Lead the finance and administration functions and related HR activities with the support of an outsourced HR partner.
• Strengthen internal policies, controls, reporting, systems, and overall financial discipline to advance the Association’s mission.
