• Write and maintain a leadership runbook for the team to follow
• Keep the backlog honest and clearly prioritized
• Maintain a smooth pipeline across the organization without constant hand-holding
• Read and improve an Initiative system you didn’t build
• Track key metrics and report findings weekly to your manager
• Make tradeoffs visible so the org can weigh them
• Question briefs when they don’t reflect reality
