Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL operates Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, CA, seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee facility operations and lead a multi-department team. This role drives performance, aligns with strategic goals, and ensures excellent guest experiences across Finance, Booking, Food & Beverage, Operations/Events, and HR.

The position emphasizes KPI development, budgeting, staff leadership, contract negotiations with vendors and tenants, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant industry experience, including three years in a management role in an arena or similar venue.
• Proven expertise in operations, contract negotiation, finance, HR, and labor relations.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of live events, sports, and entertainment industries; ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with GM direction.
• Oversee multiple departments and drive performance metrics.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, promoters, and tenants.
• Manage budgets, post-event evaluations, and capital projects.
• Lead staff development, training, and safety programs.
• Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders including City of Stockton.
