Job summary

Sunward seeks an experienced Third-Party & Vendor Risk Specialist to oversee the vendor risk lifecycle as part of the enterprise risk function. You will manage policy, maintain the vendor inventory, perform due diligence, and coordinate with Legal, IT, and Compliance to close gaps.

You will support examinations and audits while escalating higher-risk issues and seeking opportunities to improve processes across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in risk management or vendor risk management within a financial institution.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations or audits is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Sunward’s third-party risk management policy and program with documentation.
• Maintain vendor inventory and risk tiering; conduct due diligence onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinate vendor off-boarding and contract termination activities and data handling.
• Support assessment of fourth-party and concentration risk and escalate findings.
• Collaborate with Legal and IT to review vendor documents and close gaps.
