Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Vendor Contracts Manager in the United States to oversee the full lifecycle of vendor contracts and change orders. You will draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements, ensuring alignment with master agreements and sponsor requirements while coordinating with Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Business Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or Finance; nominal contracts management experience or equivalent.
• A Juris Doctor degree with concentration in contracts/transactional law is preferred.
• 3–5 years of direct CRO or pharmaceutical experience negotiating vendor agreements.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with process improvement and/or change management or ability to be mentored for development.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendors agreements and general business purpose agreements in line with company policies.
• Review contract documents for internal and external accuracy and technical completeness.
• Perform risk analysis to identify potential risks and liabilities and propose mitigation.
• Escalate as necessary to department head and legal counsel.
• Engage internal experts for information gathering, document development, and pricing discussions.
• Prepare documents per company policies and manage the contract/issue approval process.
• Document all required approvals including deviations from policies and SOPs.
• Maintain knowledge of terms within CRO industry.
• Engage in negotiations to close agreements within policy and process.
