Job summary

NewEdge Capital Group in the United States seeks a mid-level Vendor and Contract Manager within the Legal function to coordinate vendor intake, due diligence, and contract lifecycle management. You will work with Accounting and Compliance to ensure timely processing and proper documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

This role reports to Legal and offers growth as the vendor management function evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Legal Studies, or related field, or comparable work experience.
• 2 - 7 years’ experience in risk management, compliance, contract governance, or vendor management in financial services or a regulated industry.
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with contract databases, electronic signature platforms and ERP or accounting platforms.
• Familiarity with vendor risk tiering and related oversight requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the vendor onboarding framework and ensure data integrity in the vendor management system.
• Review vendor contracts for completeness and regulatory conformance; escalate issues to Legal counsel.
• Maintain ongoing oversight of contracts, renewals, terminations, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security to complete due diligence and contracting.
• Monitor vendor performance and risk; identify opportunities for process improvements.
