Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior UX Designer to define and drive the design strategy across projects, aligning UX, visual design and content decisions with business and technology goals. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure agile practices are applied to deliver impactful client experiences.

Qualifications

• Senior UX leadership experience in related roles.
• Proven ability to guide multidisciplinary teams with empathy and autonomy.
• Strong project strategy skills aligned to business and tech needs.
• Hands-on Design Thinking as a required framework.
• Solid knowledge of multiple design frameworks (e.g., CX, JTBD, Business Design).
• Experience with design systems and Atomic Design or similar.
• Excellent communication, synthesis, analysis, and negotiation.
• Stakeholder management across senior levels.
• Basic data analysis: KPI definition, backlog, roadmap, value proposition.
• B2 English proficiency; consultancy skills a plus.
• Nice to have: advanced Figma and Sketch proficiency.

• Lead UX, visual, and content decisions with a holistic view.
• Coordinate with business and tech stakeholders on trade-offs.
• Guide and motivate team members to apply the strategy consistently.
• Apply Design Thinking to structure discovery and solutions.
• Establish and evolve design systems and standards (Atomic Design).
• Plan and prioritize design work with backlogs and roadmaps.
• Define and track design KPIs for data-informed decisions.
• Facilitate workshops using Miro or Mural.
• Mentor multidisciplinary team members with empathy and autonomy.
• Communicate design rationale clearly and negotiate outcomes with stakeholders.
• Maintain collaboration and documentation using Jira and Google Workspace.
