Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks experts for its Urban Development Experts Talent Pool to support global transport and urban facility initiatives. The role focuses on sustainable urban development, planning and governance, with opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific.

Applicants should have 5+ years in urban development or related sectors and experience with international technical assistance and stakeholders across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in urban development or related sectors.
• Experience with international technical assistance and donor-funded projects is desirable.
• Experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, or Asia-Pacific is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, preparation, appraisal and implementation of urban development projects and programmes.
• Conduct urban diagnostics, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, and economic analyses.
• Support integrated urban planning and master plan development.
• Advise on urban policies, regulatory frameworks and governance reforms.
• Contribute to pipelines aligned with Global Gateway and European Green Deal priorities.
• Integrate sustainable urban mobility and climate resilience into plans.
• Coordinate with municipalities, national authorities, EU Delegations, IFIs and partners.
