Lincoln University PA is seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will supervise staff, manage grants, cash, journal entries, and reconciliations while maintaining robust internal controls and budgeting processes.

The role requires a CPA and MBA preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with the Vice President of Finance and Administration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; CPA and MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience with 3–5 years in supervision.
• Experience with budgeting, grants accounting, receivables, financial statements, tax prep and audit support.
• Knowledge of GAAP and non-profit accounting practices.
• Strong staff management and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, analyze, and interpret accounting information to appraise results against budget.
• Maintain documented accounting policies, accounts, and records for all transactions.
• Oversee accounting staff and department structure to meet goals.
• Issue and complete financial statements in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and reports.
• Ensure monthly bank reconciliations are accurate and timely.
• Maintain chart of accounts and filing system; controls over transactions.
• Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing, and contracts.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to audit comments.
