Job summary

Wonder in New York is seeking a seasoned Treasurer to architect capital structure for a high-growth, pre-IPO company while running the treasury function with precision.

You will partner with the CFO and executive team to manage liquidity, lead capital markets activities, and drive IPO readiness while implementing robust treasury policies. The hybrid role requires in‑person collaboration, with 3 days per week in the office and flexibility up to 5 days.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in corporate treasury, corporate finance, or investment banking with 7+ years leading treasury teams.
• Proven track record leading multi-billion-dollar capital structures and financings.
• Public readiness, governance, SOX, and board-level risk reporting experience.
• Experience overseeing cash management networks, merchant acquiring, and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the CFO on capital structure decisions and equity/debt raises.
• Lead capital markets transactions from diligence through close with banks and advisors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, credit investors, and counterparties.
• Build long-range cash forecasts to inform fundraising timing and structure.
• Support IPO readiness from a treasury perspective.
• Manage liquidity, including daily cash positioning and forecasting.
• Design and enforce treasury policies and controls.
• Oversee selection and implementation of a Treasury Management System.
• Collaborate with Controllership on month-end close and covenants.
• Coordinate with FP&A on cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
• Support Board reporting with liquidity and risk analysis.
• Partner with corporate development on acquisition diligence and structuring.
