Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Transportation and Logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Highly motivated, energetic with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in computer software and systems.
• Supervisory/managerial experience in a distribution/logistics environment.
• Experience in food distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation from distribution centers to stores, ensuring cost-effective deliveries and on-time arrival.
• Manage transportation budgets, monitor invoices, and support claims resolution.
• Maintain communication with external carriers to resolve issues and ensure deliveries.
• Analyze report data to measure cost-effectiveness and delivery efficiency.
• Coordinate with Managers to address transportation issues.
• Assist with scheduling, receipt and delivery of seasonal promotions.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Perform essential functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
