Job summary

Ziegler Inc. seeks a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate equipment movement for Ag, Rental, and Product Support divisions. You will work with drivers, coordinators, and sales to ensure efficient hauls and regulatory compliance.

This role requires knowledge of DOT regulations, strong communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to optimize asset utilization across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; a 4-year degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations for MN, IA, WI, MO.
• Past carrier selection and price negotiation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment movement for Ag, Rental, and Product Support divisions.
• Communicate haul requests to drivers via TDM.
• Support drivers, coordinators, and sales with timely inquiries by phone or email.
• Promote safety and enforce regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPI’s and vendor performance.
