Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain - Transportation & Delivery Strategic Initiatives to lead a portfolio of enterprise-grade programs that advance transportation and supply chain capabilities.

The role partners with senior transportation leadership to align strategy, governance, and execution from ideation to sustainable results, driving risk management and organizational readiness across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Certification may be required.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs a portfolio of strategic Transportation and Supply Chain transformation initiatives from opportunity identification through execution, stabilization, and post-implementation review.
• Partners with executive and senior functional leaders to translate enterprise strategy into multi-year roadmaps, workstreams, and measurable outcomes.
• Establishes governance mechanisms, including intake workflows, project charters, delivery schedules, risk mitigation, and exec dashboards.
• Coordinates cross-functional dependencies to ensure synchronization and momentum.
• Builds business cases and value-realization frameworks tying deliverables to performance metrics.
• Diagnoses bottlenecks using data analytics to prioritize network optimization opportunities.
• Drives change management and readiness strategies with stakeholder training and process adoption.
• Formulates executive briefings and decision analyses to uplift leadership decisions.
