Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial field required; MBA preferred.
• Seven years’ experience in contract negotiation, financial analysis/modeling, and/or corporate development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in negotiation desired.
• Ability to work well within a team and interact with individuals at all levels.
• Overnight travel as needed.
• Experience in, or extensive knowledge of, an energy related field.

Aufgaben

• Drive interconnection and transmission connection solutions for strategic large customers across customer acquisition, planning, development, and construction processes and departments.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of the company’s transmission product/service solution capabilities and understanding of the customer’s business to develop customized proposals.
• Identify and develop large-scale transmission business growth opportunities within commercial and industrial (C&I) market sectors.
• Support Corporate Development Directors in developing and managing Operating Company Corporate Development Strategies; negotiate simple to complex transactions.
• Provide guidance and support to business units in assessing and developing new corporate transmission development initiatives.
• Screen and prioritize business opportunities and resource allocation.
• Assess gaps in transmission and interconnection service capabilities and recommend approaches to close them.
• Execute next steps on approved transmission-related corporate development opportunities.
