Baird is seeking a Transition Process Coordinator to deliver efficient and compliant onboarding for experienced Financial Advisors and clients in the Private Wealth Management group. The role collaborates across Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, IT, Recruiting, and Branch Leadership, handling planning, materials, and data analysis for a smooth transition.

Approximately 45% of the role involves Transition Specialist duties with remote or onsite support and long-term travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in financial-services onboarding is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead customized pre-transition planning with Legal and partners.
• Review client communications and official documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate onboarding: websites, rep codes, access needs.
• Analyze client data to identify existing relationships and suitable products.
• Prepare client packets and time-sensitive communications for recruits.
• Oversee transition-day account setup and ACATS initiation.
• Monitor transfers, troubleshoot errors, ensure a seamless experience.
• Respond to daily questions from advisors, clients and partners.
• Serve as Transition Specialist remotely or onsite when needed.
• Ensure compliance, privacy and risk controls throughout transitions.
• Train new recruits and connect advisors with departments as needed.
• Support business continuity planning and related activities.
