Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Transition PMO leader to establish and operate the Transition Management Office for large IT infrastructure and managed services transitions. You will provide governance reporting, financial tracking, risk management, and executive visibility across multiple transition workstreams.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have strong governance and PMO leadership experience.
• Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure transitions.
• Ability to produce executive dashboards and KPIs.
• Familiarity with coordinating across multiple towers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the Transition Management Office (TMO) processes.
• Define governance, reporting schedules, and review meetings.
• Organize executive reviews, steering committee meetings, and transition status meetings.
• Ensure compliance with transition methodology, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain transition documents, repositories, and knowledge records.
• Create and manage integrated transition plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, and critical activities across all transition workstreams.
• Coordinate activities across multiple infrastructure towers.
• Monitor phase-gate and toll-gate completion requirements.
• Drive ownership and timely completion of transition deliverables.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and progress scorecards.
• Consolidate updates from all towers and provide leadership visibility on transition progress
