Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Transition PMO to lead the Transition Management Office for large-scale IT infrastructure and managed services transitions. You will govern reporting, risk management, and milestone oversight while coordinating across Service Desk, Cloud, Datacenter, and Security operations to ensure on-time delivery.

• Experience managing and delivering complex transition programs across multiple infrastructure towers.
• Ability to define governance, reporting schedules, and review meetings.
• Proven track record of executive reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the Transition Management Office (TMO) processes.
• Define governance, reporting schedules, and review meetings.
• Organize executive reviews, steering committee meetings, and transition status meetings.
• Ensure compliance with transition methodology, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain transition documents, repositories, and knowledge records.
• Create and manage integrated transition plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, and critical activities across all transition workstreams.
• Coordinate activities across multiple infrastructure towers.
• Monitor phase-gate and toll-gate completion requirements.
• Drive ownership and timely completion of transition deliverables.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and progress scorecards.
• Consolidate updates from all towers and provide leadership visibility on transition progress
