Miami County is looking for a dedicated manager for the Recycling/Transfer Station in Troy, Ohio. Compensation ranges from $72,000 to $80,000, alongside various benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule and requires a valid commercial driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid Ohio commercial driver’s license, Class B.
• Must have demonstrable knowledge of and experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment for loading, hauling, and disposal of solid waste.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of the Recycling/Transfer Station.
• Supervise Sanitary Engineering department staff members.
• Prepare and monitor Recycling/Transfer Station budget.

Skills

Supervisory experience in refuse operation

Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance

Valid Ohio driver's license

Valid Ohio commercial driver's license, Class B

Education

Completion of four (4) years of high school or equivalent
