Job summary

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an ambitious TAS Senior Associate to perform financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions and search funds. S/he will collaborate with clients, target management, investment bankers and other advisers, bringing GAAP expertise and problem-solving to every engagement.

We seek an entrepreneurial, team-oriented professional with a background in public accounting or advisory and a drive to learn more about the transaction advisory space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, preferably audit or advisory.
• CPA Certification (obtained or in progress).
• CFA or CMA designation is a plus.
• Basic understanding of the M&A process with a desire to learn more.
• Strong written communication ability.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions and search funds.
• Communicate effectively with clients, target company management, investment bankers, and other client advisors.
• Apply strong GAAP knowledge and problem solving to complete engagements.
