Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA is seeking a Senior Associate Director, Commercial Training & Development to translate sales and marketing strategies into impactful learning experiences for our animal health sales force. You will lead enterprise-level training initiatives, mentor teams, and drive high-impact programs aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years in training, development, or commercial roles in animal health or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Experience as a sales manager or sales trainer is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into actionable learning strategies and prioritize initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders across cross-functional teams to secure alignment and buy-in.
• Identify risks, mitigate them, and lead teams through change with empathy and structure.
• Forecast and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of programs.
• Design and deliver modern training solutions across digital, instructor-led, and blended formats, using agile methodologies.
• Measure learning outcomes and iterate strategies to improve learner experience.
