Job summary

Esri in Texas, San Antonio, seeks a seasoned consultant to lead strategic advisory work, translating organizational goals into workforce development roadmaps and accelerating adoption of Esri technology. You will partner with Esri’s Business Development team to close capability gaps and drive value for customers.

You will work with government and commercial clients, communicate at executive levels, and travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting, advisory, or workforce development experience.
• Direct work familiarity with state/local government or similar organizations.
• Strong creative and structured thinking in consultative engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including executive-level presentations.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and US citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor, consulting with customer organizations to understand their mission, priorities, and outcomes.
• Conduct skills gap analysis to identify necessary workforce capabilities.
• Design and propose workforce development roadmaps aligning Esri training with customer needs.
• Proactively identify business development opportunities within the customer base.
• Partner with Esri teams to shape comprehensive solutions addressing organizational challenges.
• Represent and communicate the value of training to Esri customers and prospects.
