Job summary

Fenwick & West seeks a Trademark Operations Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions of the Trademark practice across U.S. offices, with a hybrid work arrangement in California. You will mentor paralegals, supervise the Trademark Transfer Specialist, and optimize workflows to support attorneys and leadership.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in trademark prosecution operations, and familiarity with docketing systems. Travel is quarterly to firm offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in trademark prosecution operations.
• At least 3–4 years in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Trademark Paralegals, including performance management, workflow planning, and accountability.
• Directly manage the Trademark Transfer Specialist and oversee transfer‑in/out processes.
• Directly manage the Trademark Practice Assistants and oversee administrative workflows.
• Oversee and optimize trademark workflows to ensure timely, accurate execution of matters.
• Monitor workload distribution and reassign resources to meet deadlines.
• Provide training and ongoing professional development for staff.
