Job summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director, Technical Project Management to lead digital, automation, and data integration across capital projects within the Digital Manufacturing Division. This role drives validated, compliant solutions supporting facility startup, readiness, and sustained performance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, IT, Quality, and Operations to deliver end-to-end automation, data integration, and cybersecurity, embedding lifecycle management into execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering automation or digital scope in regulated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of automation systems and MES/data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital and automation scope across project phases.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, and dependencies to meet objectives.
• Deliver automation, MES, and data integration solutions and support validation.
• Coordinate system integration across platforms and vendors.
