Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Senior Manager Digital and Tech Plant and Automation in Princeton, NJ. You will lead a global Plant & Automation team, aligning demand and capacity while delivering MES, warehousing, automation and robotics solutions across sites.

You will influence senior leaders, drive digital transformation, and strengthen operating discipline. The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing/industrial tech and strong executive presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with approx 10+ years of experience.
• Proven success leading global technical teams in complex manufacturing environments.
• Deep expertise in MES, warehousing, ACM, batch management, SCADA, DCS, PLC, automation or robotics.
• Strong executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and communicate across levels.
• Experience driving incident management, ITIL, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global Plant & Automation team across sites.
• Balance demand, capacity, and priorities for incidents, enhancements and initiatives.
• Influence leaders to shape priorities, investments, and long-term roadmaps.
• Deliver digital manufacturing solutions to improve stability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Champion operational excellence with ITIL, RCA, and disciplined problem prevention.
