Job summary

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology in New York, NY seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs across Commerce and related DEEP&T groups.

The role requires 7+ years of program management, strong communication, and proven ability to coordinate schedules, risks, and deliverables with senior leadership. Base salary ranges from $155,700 to $208,700 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, strategic software development programs.
• Facilitate effective communication across disparate teams.
• Expertise in Agile or Waterfall program management methods.
• Strong planning, delivery, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and delivery of highly complex programs with cross-functional impact.
• Develop plans and timelines accounting for dependencies.
• Ensure transparency of progress and risks; drive mitigation and contingency plans.
• Communicate status via presentations, dashboards, and executive briefs.
• Define roles, responsibilities and accountability across teams.
• Perform capacity planning for teams.
• Coordinate activities across multiple technology teams.
• Understand architecture, tools and deployment practices used by development teams.
• Track and report key program metrics.
• Collaborate with Product to triage programs for senior leadership.
