Job summary

Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead aerospace and defense development programs in Chatsworth, CA. You will own program plans, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional execution from proposal through production transition.

You will interface with customers and executives, manage EACs/ETCs, and drive risk mitigation while maintaining schedule and cost objectives. A strong technical foundation in ruggedized electronics and DoD programs is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of aerospace/defense program management experience.
• Experience with ruggedized electronics and mission-critical hardware.
• Proven ability to manage programs from proposal to production transition.
• Experience with DoD or prime contractor programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of aerospace and defense development, qualification, NPI, and production programs.
• Serve as primary interface with customers, ensuring strong relationships and proactive communication.
• Develop and manage integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Contracts, and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, statements of work, technical specifications, and contractual deliverables.
• Manage Estimates at Completion (EACs), Estimates to Complete (ETCs), revenue forecasts, profitability projections, and cash flow performance.
