Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Technology Sourcing Manager for the Network Backhaul team in Frisco, TX. You will own procurement for cell site backhaul, metro core, and long-haul circuits, building relationships with nationwide carriers and fiber providers.

You will negotiate MSAs, service orders, dark fiber, and MPLS solutions, balancing cost, speed to deploy, and resiliency. Strong procurement and telecom experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience required
• Advanced degree with 3+ years preferred
• 4–7 years experience in technology sourcing or telecom procurement
• Experience managing a portfolio of 50+ vendors

Responsibilities

• Source backhaul circuit spend via RFP/RFI/RFQ processes across national and regional supplier portfolios
• Draft, negotiate, and execute MSAs, service orders, IRU, dark fiber leases, and related agreements
• Drive sourcing strategies for large-scale circuit deployments balancing cost, speed to deploy, and network resiliency
• Develop financial models (NPV, CapEx/OpEx) and long-term cost projections
• Lead supplier scorecards, QBRs, and risk assessments across a broad supplier base
• Prepare business cases and supplier recommendations for executive review
