Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, part of the M.C. Dean family, seeks a leader to plan, develop, and continuously improve technical training for a specialized function.

You will establish priorities, drive delivery standards, and partner with senior leaders to ensure training reflects current processes and technologies. You will oversee a team of training professionals, manage resources and budgets, and evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a technical training function or program in a technical/operational environment.
• Direct management experience including performance management, staffing, coaching and employee development.
• Experience partnering with senior operational and technical leaders and making decisions on training priorities, resources, and complex program issues.
• Knowledge of instructional program management, adult learning principles, and training effectiveness evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical training for an assigned function or organization.
• Establish training priorities, delivery strategies, and program standards aligned with workforce capability needs and operational goals.
• Manage, coach, and develop assigned technical training employees, including performance management and staffing.
• Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to identify training requirements and ensure content reflects current processes and technologies.
• Provide direction on training methods, scheduling, resource allocation, and major program changes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using completion, proficiency, assessments, workplace performance, and stakeholder feedback.
• Resolve complex instructional, validation, capacity, and delivery issues across teams.
• Manage training resources, budgets, equipment, facilities, vendors, and governance.
