You will analyze risk data, prepare management reports, and help implement policies aligned with GLBA, NIST and CIS standards in a changing tech landscape. This role offers growth in a leading financial services firm.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of information security principles and risk management frameworks.
• Experience with assessing technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex risks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to management.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to information security (GLBA, NIST, CIS).
• Understanding of threat management, vulnerability management, and risk treatment concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate technical risks associated with information systems, processes, and technologies.
• Conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
• Analyze risk data using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and other departments to promote a risk-aware culture.
• Monitor and review risk management processes to identify improvements.
• Provide training and awareness programs on risk management.
