Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; 1+ years recruiting experience preferred, internships or academics qualify
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
• Able to manage multiple priorities with autonomy and accountability
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and advising on hiring decisions

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and operational roles, from intake to closing
• Partner with leaders and hiring managers to provide market insights and refine interview processes
• Conduct thorough initial interviews to assess ability, culture fit, and potential
• Design and execute sourcing strategies including events and networking
• Deliver exceptional candidate experiences reflecting General Matter's mission and culture
• Track recruiting metrics to improve efficiency and reporting quality
• Maintain applicant tracking system accuracy and contribute to process improvements
• Wear multiple hats across recruiting and university initiatives as we scale
