Job summary

Paymentus is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager in Dallas, TX to lead payment processing projects, including cryptocurrency and wallet-based methods. You will connect our solutions to billers via API interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

You will manage executive stakeholders, drive discovery sessions, and ensure on-time delivery while keeping a sharp focus on customer experience and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in payment processing or billing for consumer-driven companies.
• Experience in a client-facing role with multi-position teams and successful project plans.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing methodologies and emerging methods.
• Proficiency in API technology and billing system integration.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Self-directed with strong problem-solving and autonomy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from inception to completion aligned with goals and customer needs.
• Communicate complex software processes and manage IT systems and solutions.
• Manage executive stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Lead discovery sessions and kickoff scopes with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment solutions.
• Utilize Scrum/Kanban to manage timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain focus on customer experience amid changing priorities.
• Develop project reports and KPIs to communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Establish and manage relationships with partners and expanded opportunities.
