Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
• Background in engineered-products, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or electrical environments.
• Hands-on procurement experience including sourcing, vendor management, or technical procurement.
• Ability to read and translate engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs into supplier requirements.
• Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of manufacturing cost drivers.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office; experience with procurement platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle procurement of technical components, fabricated parts, materials, and services.
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications to determine purchasing needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate supplier capabilities and meet specs.
• Solicit and evaluate RFQs/RFPs; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery.
• Identify and qualify alternative vendors to improve supply chain flexibility.
• Monitor supplier metrics: on-time delivery, cost, quality, and capacity.
• Coordinate with international teams to resolve technical or supply risks.
• Support New Product Development from concept to production.
• Maintain purchasing records and vendor files in the ERP system.
