Job summary

SK hynix America seeks a Technical Accounting Manager to lead complex IFRS accounting matters, including M&A, equity method investments, and consolidation. You will prepare technical memos, support monthly and quarterly close, and partner with Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and external auditors.

The role covers audits, policy development for acquisitions, and staying ahead of new standards. Authorized to work in the US; salary range $110,000-$150,000 USD; onsite in San Jose with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant technical accounting focus.
• Strong IFRS knowledge: business combinations, equity method accounting, consolidation, investments.
• Experience with M&A accounting and purchase accounting.
• Ability to independently research complex accounting issues and prepare memos.
• Experience managing external auditors and coordinating audits.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, internal control, and accounting operations.
• Excellent analytical and project management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and documentation of complex accounting matters, incl. M&A.
• Prepare technical memos and accounting conclusions for close processes.
• Provide guidance to Finance, Legal, Tax, and external auditors.
• Coordinate statutory and consolidated audits.
• Develop accounting policies for acquisitions and complex transactions.
• Monitor new accounting standards and assess impact.
