You will prepare comprehensive memos and collaborate across teams to resolve complex accounting issues, supporting disclosures, audit readiness, and SOX controls.

The role involves coordinating with internal/external counsel and auditors, with a focus on accurate financial reporting and process improvements within a dynamic education technology company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA credential is preferred.
• At least 6+ years of growing responsibilities with related experience; public accounting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multi-priority, fast-paced environment and implement change.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Workiva is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Research and advise on technical accounting topics, including GAAP, financial reporting, and SEC matters.
• Prepare technical memos, analyses, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and audit readiness.
• Operate as backup support for the financial reporting team.
• Support internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel and external auditors.
